We decided that our warehouse looked a little too much like a broken down old warehouse, and not enough like an inviting storefront for local customers.

So…we gave the Will Call a makeover! It’s the second round of Will Call improvements, actually…but necessary, for sure!

* New Diamond Plate base and support C bracket for full length bars.
* Cleaner, more organized shelves.
* Better signage.
* Fresh paint.
* …and a Diamond Plate Push pad and kick plate on the door, so that the boys in the warehouse don’t get metal grease fingerprints all over it. DON’T TOUCH MY DOOR!!! lol

I blame it on the warm weather.

Seattle’s just not used to warm weather.

Today’s technical difficulty is minor. It’s problem with our shopping cart, that’s only affecting a few people.

BUT if it’s happening to you, and you can’t place an order…please call us and let us enter your order for you.

We’re sorry that you have to deal with a less than 100% perfect system…but we appreciate your patience, and will do everything we can to take care of you.

Our latest Industrial accident happened right next door! Early this morning, I glanced out my office window…and noticed this…

I guess the operator didn’t realize how loose our gravel is. Ooooops!

Unfortunately, my camera was out in the shop when they used their ginormous Industrial CAT forklift to scoop out and move this little bad boy back onto the pavement. I saw it though, and it was cool!

Now, if only I had another, even larger forklift to carry them both on. Bwahahahaha!

Safety first, people!!!

Yep, our new warehouse is almost ready. How do I know? Because a number of OLMers are over there in meetings to finalize everything.

SO….get excited about our second location, and the faster shipping times to the east coast. 2 day to almost everywhere.

The blog is still up!!!

A fire in the vault where the OLM servers are housed took OnlineMetals.com down…but THE BLOG IS MAKIN’ it through!!! Now I’m left to wonder why they haven’t moved our website onto the blog server so that it’ll work too…but I’m not a tech geek. I’m the marketing director, who’s pretty sure it doesn’t work that way. Darn!

So, just know that we’re still here. We can still take and fulfill orders. Even faster than usual, actually…cause there are less of them coming in.

It’s 10AM on Friday, and they expect to have us online again by 8pm tonight.
